General Pong Krell — Star Wars Fan Art

This piece was created as part of an art challenge inspired by the Star Wars universe organized by Collider Craftworks Studio, developed in our spare time during 3 weeks. Our team of three who worked together to bring this Clone Wars character to life:
Diego Rudi (Me) — Modeled the main body/creature for Pong Krell.

Ian Ekboir — Modeled and set dressed the environment/foliage based on Umbara Planet from the Clone Wars Animated Series.

Our goal was to create a more realistic version of the character compared to the animated one. For high-poly stage we used Autodesk Maya, Marvelous Designer, and ZBrush. Substance Painter for the textures.
For the environment and hole presentation, we used Speedtree and Unreal Engine 5.
